The Artist Project provides a unique platform for international and Canadian contemporary artists to sell and exhibit original art to the public. For four days in early March, The Artist Project takes over the Queen Elizabeth Building at Toronto’s Exhibition Place. The fair features over 200 carefully juried independent artists, presenting works in a multitude of mediums including, painting, photography, mixed media and sculpture, through floor exhibits and special features. The nature of this art fair allows for the unique experience of first time buyers and seasoned collectors to meet, learn and purchase directly from talented emerging and established artists. In addition, competitions showcase the best up-and-coming artists, docent-led tours give informative explorations of the show, and ‘Art Chats’ offer a popular speaker series, led by leading art and design experts.
