The fourth Show (formerly The Retirement Show) in Scotland will take place on 11-12 November at the SECC, Hall 3, in Glasgow. The exhibition - the biggest in Britain for the active over-50s - will be a fantastic day out, so wear comfortable shoes, come with a friend and plan to stay the whole day! The show - which each year attracts around 6000 visitors from around Scotland - featured over 80 stands. Exhibitors included household names such as Age Scotland, Dyson, Mackies of Scotland, McCarthy & Stone, and BT, as well as many others that provided useful goods and services for mature visitors. Alongside the prize quiz each day, there were many prize competitions and draws at the show. The Rangemaster Cookery Theatre featured live demonstrations by famous chefs from Glasgow's restaurant scene, each competing to outdo each other in deliciousness and culinary spectacle. Dance fans were spoilt for choice, with tap, 'Jane Austen style' dancing, circle dancing, Scottish country dancing and line dancing all on offer. Visitors enjoyed an 'active laughter' session, as well as one-on-one chuckle chats with 'the boffin of joy,' Sharon Miller. Other visitors participated in the have-a-go T'ai Chi sessions in the activity zone....
