Kentucky State Fair is the official state-fair of Kentucky and the fair takes place at the Kentucky Exposition Center in Louisville. This 11-day Mega- event is conducted by Kentucky State Fair Board. The board was set in operation since 1938, although from 1950 Kentucky Fair started to be held at Kentucky Exposition Center. State Fair Board operates as the active agency and productive agency of Kentucky Tourism, Art and Heritage Cabinet. Apart from managing and operating two premier business venues, it hosts three flagship events in the state, which are held annually, namely the Kentucky State Fair the National Farm Machinery Show and the North American International Livestock Exposition . Besides it also organizes several trade shows and exhibitions in and around Kentucky. The President and CEO of the Fair board is Mr. Harold Workman.
