DeafNation is a foundation that is the global organizer in the video substance, news exposure, community networking and unique events especially dedicated to deaf and hard of hearing communities around USA. DeafNation serves the community with exhibitions and entertainment to the deaf people. The DeafNation began its journey in 2003, in USA. At that point of time the foundation used to host 6 Expos annually. Currently, headquartered in Manchaca, DeafNation, Inc is a unique company that was founded by two brothers Joel and Jed Barish. The DeafNation hosts national events such as DeafNation Expo, a yearly expedition of 10 to 15 expos all around the United States, many global events, like the Deaflympics and World Deaf Basketball Championships and DeafNation.com, a special social network site especially dedicated to the deaf.
