Hokkaido University Conference Hall is located in the Sapporo campus of Hokkaido University. It takes only less than 10 minutes on foot from JR Sapporo station. Various kinds of hotels are available in Sapporo city. For example, Keio Plaza Hotel with 510 rooms and Sapporo Aspen Hotel with 300 rooms are available next door to the Conference Hall.
The Conference Hall was established in March 1985 in order to promote academic programs at the university. The Hall is used for academic activities such as lectures, study meetings, seminars, conferences and ceremonies.
