International Quilt Festival Spring is an exposition which showcases the latest techniques of sewing dolls, quilts and crafts. Many exhibitors participate from across the world to showcase their latest products of craft work, needle work, making of teddy bear and other dolls, sewing, stitching, embroidery, knitting, art work and patterns, making dress for dolls etc. The event creates vast business opportunities as to even a single item like a dolls dress. A number of pieces can be designed for a single doll, e.g., Barbie doll. A mainstay of the event is the teaching classes open to children above 8 years as well as for adults. Special events are being held by leaders in sewing and quilting, doll making and art and craft industry.
