New Brunswick’s largest Boat Show exceeded all expectations and enjoyed a 9% increase in visitor attendance. Visitors were lined up before the show opened on Friday and the aisles were jammed all day on Saturday. Exhibitors reported excellent sales activity on the floor in relation to actual boat sales with many solid leads to follow up on, while marine chandleries enjoyed a booming business this year as product streamed out the doors at a steady pace as people readied themselves for the upcoming boating season! People came to shop and it definitely showed.
After a banner boating season last year, our exhibitors enjoyed brisk sales and enthusiastic buyers in part due to pent up demand from years past. Several new lines were debuted at the show and visitors were excited to check them out! A lot of attention was paid to the pontoon boat displays and midsized fiberglass boats. Aluminum boats and personal watercraft also proved quite popular this year.
The seminar stage was nearly always full, and we would like to thank all our participants including Cam Brownson from Angler and Hunter TV and our stage moderator Lane Collins for his assistance in keeping the stage show running smoothly.
Media coverage for the event was extensive as we received blanket coverage from the Moncton Times and Transcript and several exhibitors commented on the high quality advertising campaign for this year’s event.
