On September 17 and 18, 2011, Hanns-Martin-Schleyer-Halle, the fair's venue, again turned into a mecca for coin collectors, investors looking to buy gold and silver, numismatic newbies and bargain hunters. Besides a wealth of modern and historic coins, also this year the traditional Stuttgart coin fair held a very special attraction. At the booth of Berufsverband des Deutschen Münzenfachhandels (German Numismatic Trade Association), each visitor could swap a 2-euro circulation coin for one of the sought-after San Marino coins. Many of the 2,500 visitors used this unique opportunity while marveling at the numismatic treasures displayed on an area of 3,000 sq m by over 100 exhibitors from Germany and abroad.
With this excellent track record, we are already looking forward to organizing our next Stuttgart coin show. The date for the event is set: September 22 to 23, 2012. We will keep you informed of further details.
In addition, we await many more exciting events in the numismatic year of 2012.
