The Colombian Association for the Advancement of Science (ACAC) since its establishment in 1989 has been actively working to showcase the latest developments and innovations in the fields of science, technology and education throughout Columbia. The company provides a platform to various organizational entities related to the fields of science and technology and education to promote their offerings as well as increase awareness among people about the latest developments. The organization also publishes various circulations to gain further lead on their mission of promoting technological developments. The association has been awarded with the Latin-American prize and the Gonzalo Jimenez de Quesada Prize for the Popularization of Science and Technology. Eduardo Posada is the president of the organization under whose dynamic leadership international events like Jornada Nacional Bibliotecaria, Taller de Indicadores de Evaluacion de Bibliotecas are organized.
