The International Gas Turbine Institute or IGTI in short is the technical wing of The American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME). It is a not for profit society dedicated to solve the problems related to all the streams of engineering. Situated at Georgia in USA, the IGTI is into the business for more than 50 years now. They aim at the confluence of all professionals, having backgrounds of engineering, with respect to sharing their knowledge and skills with each other. The IGTI constantly targets at exchange of information pertaining to the improvement of the design, manufacture, operation, maintenance and environmental influence of all kinds of turbines and related machineries. They are also involved in the noble mission of imparting education related to this industry to interested people. Running under the chairman Mr. Ronald Bunker, it organizes the Turbo Expo which is an annual event.
