Conceived in the year 1929 as a body to form a network between the squadron members after the 1st World War, Royal Air Force Association, generally abbreviated as RAFA, is a leading organization based in Sussex, UK. The President of this premier organization is Mr. P O Sturley and it aims at providing support to the ex-service members and their families and also conducting several welfare services on different levels. In keeping with its noble mission, it organizes a number of popular events such as the "Shoreham Air Show", "Three Peaks Challenge" and many fund-raising campaigns and events, bike rides, marathons and other recreational activities. The hugely popular "Shoreham Air Show" is also one of its upcoming attractions which showcases air show display acts.
