The Ice Cream Alliance or the ICA is a nonprofit organization working tirelessly for supporting the cause of production and selling ice creams. It was established in the year 1944 and was formerly known as The Ice Cream Association of Great Britain and Ireland. It acts as a common platform for the suppliers, retailers, caterers and the manufacturers of ice cream products. Having its headquarters in Pride Park, Derby it has a huge membership base of 750 businesses which includes many retail businesses too. The President of the company Mr. Andrew Caldwell and the CEO Mrs. Zelica Carr is on a constant drive to broaden the international perspective of this company in addition to the businesses derived from over30 countries. It also publishes The Ice Cream, a monthly magazine and also organizes trade fairs and exhibitions of which The Ice Cream Expo is one.
