Founded to promote, channel and even create new business areas, specially within the gaming sector. Interazar Group has flourished due to the evolution of this industry and the demand for services this has produced. The group is made up of a combination of professionals with different specialitites and led by Juan Manuel Ortega, a journalist and media sciences graduated who started writing articles on the sector in 1976. The group's activities, which ar mostly centered in Spain, extend throughout the different countries of the European Community and the American Continent. The organization and running of Trade Fairs, events and congresses as well as a range of editorial activities both linked to these events and of an independent nature consitute one of the group main functions. Within this area, the Interazar Group pays special attention to the Gaming and Leisure sectors and is well known as the organizer of Fer-Interazar and Andalusian Gaming Trade Fair. The Group activities and dedication to this industry and all its branches is reflectes with the publication, since 1984, of the Temas Recreativos y de Azar magazine, populary known as Azar. This magazine is proud to be the undisputed leader of professional gaming information in Spain.
